Social Groups

The social group that we are looking at is younger people and or people that live near Siesta Key. The relationship between siblings could also be a social group because it shows how the actors are as siblings. It also shows that older brothers are very over protective with their little siblings especially sisters. Our movie is based off of the beach and the people on the beach. We are trying to catch the attention of the people around the area. Siesta Key is a well known area and a lot of people know the beach for it's beautiful scenery and sand but they do not know the backside of it with all the mystery and missing people.

Plans for the Revision

There are many revisions that are going to be needed to change. Our first shot of the movie was a very rough draft hence the reason on why there is no sound and shaky camera. We are going to have reshoot the scenes that aren't clean enough. There are some script sentences that need to be revised and changed to make the storyline more compelling. I think the location is going to be changed to away from the water just because of the sound issues. Along with the posters we have, they will be hung up around the area instead of in the sand. Editing will be more seamless and title will be posted longer.

Feedback

These are the types of feedback our group got from the class. 

• Shaky camera with pan of ocean and officer scene
• Title was to fast
• Clothes and flyers not focused 
• Need more info on missing people
• Actually hang the posters
• More compelling reason for brother to leave

Short Film Final

This is my finished product for the movie. As I do know I will need to make revisions for next quarter to make the movie seamless.

Final Script

Here is the new and approved final script of the film. We had to change the script because the actors were siblings so they just used improv throughout the film. This made the film run a lot smoother and flow together as a piece.

Script

Boy: "So how's school going"

Girl: "It's good.."

Boy: "Classes?"

Girl: "Good..."

Boy: "Boys?"

Girl: "You know I'm not going to tell my big brother about boys"

Boy: " "Aww come on I want you to be able to tell me anything, you're my little sister"

Girl: "Wait what's that"

*points down at the ground toward missing poster on the rocks*

*picks up missing sign off the ground*

Boy: "Oh yeah, I wasn't going to tell you because of school and everything, but hey dont worry about that, they will be fine, but hey I'm going to run to the bathroom real fast, stay right here. Dont move!"

*girl looking out at the ocean waiting*

cop: "You said you left her right here?"

Boy: "Yeah she was just right there, I went to the...."

*Rubs his face cuz he's freaking out*

Boy: I left her right there, she was just right there. I went to the bathroom and when I came back she was gone.

Cop: Okay well here is my card, if you see or hear anything give me a call.

*shakes hands with the cop*

Boy: Thank you so much

Cop: Alright take it easy

*fanning the card on his hand*

Boy: Where did you go? I swear I will find you.
