How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?
Our film engages a younger audience because of it being a horror film. Horror films are more towards younger children, such as teenagers and young adults. Our film features a teenager and younger adult so this helps with the audience. The situation is very real for kids in the age range of 15-28 because it is in a well known place and many people don't usually worry about this type of thing. Neither of these characters were ready or prepared for this situations so this movie made it hard on the characters and left some suspense.
For distribution I think the movie would work out better if it was distributed off of Netflix and Amazon. The film isn't a huge film so showing it in theaters might not be a good idea and it won't have a good turn out. Netflix is meant for smaller films and they have a wide range of horror films. Amazon and Netflix together would give our film enough exposure for people to view and give feed back on our film. Through Netflix it might take a while to reply with the request to post the movie on there but many times they don't charge you to do it. But many people try to get their films on Netflix so it can be hard sometimes.
